O Sistema Complexo de Produção do Sector da Construção Civil na Região do Algarve

Abstract

Technological innovation is crucial for the competitiveness and is identified as a complex, interactive and dynamic phenomenon, based in a process influenced by sectorial specifications. Little attention has been granted to technological innovation in the particular context of the sector of the construction, besides its known importance in the economy. In result of a set of interviews to companies placed in the region of the Algarve, the main factors that of the point of view of the company influence the innovative activity were identified, having given special attention to the standarts of interaction between companies, suppliers, customers, identification of the strategies, role of research institutions, influence of formation and relevance of financing system and regulators.
